Amenities

Activities and Recreation
Hope Village provides an atmosphere where residents can choose to be as busy and active as they like or simply enjoy the privacy of our beautiful wooded area. Many residents find they have more visits from family and friends living here than they did in their own home. Friends and family are welcome to participate in any number of planned activities with the residents, such as a delicious noon meal, excursions, special dinners and events. There are activities daily including cards, bingo, board games, crafts and movies. Hope Village's library, beauty/barber shop, fitness area and recreation room provide convenient options for maintaining an active lifestyle.
Transportation
Complimentary transportation to local shopping areas, grocery stores and banks is regularly scheduled for everyone. Arranged transportation with our driver can take residents to special luncheon outings and day trips. Personal appointments, such as to see a doctor, can be scheduled for no additional charge.
Dining

Even though independent living apartments have full kitchens, apartment residents need not prepare all their meals. A midday meal (included in the monthly rent) is served daily in the community dining room. This typical main meal may include a choice of salads, potatoes, vegetable, meat, dessert, fresh homemade bread and a beverage choice.

Residents in the assisted living (studio) apartments have the luxury of having breakfast, a full noon meal and supper provided on a daily basis. Residents in independent living apartments have the option of participating in these additional meals for a small monthly charge.

Safety

Hope Village provides 24 hour-a-day staff to respond immediately to an advanced emergency call system. Each resident is given a personally programmed life alert necklace that provides direct contact should they need any special help in their apartments, day or night. The on site management team knows each resident personally and maintains an awareness of their needs.

Doors into the facility are locked every evening to help control access from non-residents. Residents can control access to the entrance for visitors and family members through their own key as well as an intercom in their room.

Hope Village is large enough to provide all of the amenities, but small enough that everyone knows your name. It is a safe and secure place to live, with room level sprinkler systems, smoke alarms and fire safety provisions.
